Take Charge of Your Health with Naturopathy

Healthy Issues is my naturopathic practice, which is located in Torquay, Victoria. If you’ve got health concerns, you can book an appointment with me for an evaluation and a consultation. I’m Anne-Maree Sullivan, a qualified naturopath, here to support your journey to better health.

A Holistic Approach to Better Health

Naturopaths aim to find the cause of an ailment using natural and non-invasive treatments to help the body heal itself. A holistic approach is taken. Issues at work, diet, ways of living, emotional state, genetics, and the environment may each play a role in shaping a person’s health and all are considered.

Lifestyle and Diet Adjustments

Focus on your current health concerns. We begin by taking a careful history and proceeding until we understand what Naturopathic remedy will best improve your health. This may include lifestyle changes, diet modification, supplements, and other traditional treatments, such as herbal medicines.

Healthy Issues Naturopathy Anne Maree Sullivan helps unite delicious food with nutrition.

From Chef to Naturopath

Establishing Healthy Issues in 2024 begins a new chapter in an ongoing interest in healthy eating and natural medicine. The interest started with a battle to improve my health and that of my young son in the early 80s. I worked as a chef and cooking demonstrator at the Bellbrae Health Resort from 1984 until 1989 and later in 1989, opened a ‘healthy eats’ café in Geelong, Victoria called “Yours Naturally”. By this time, a passion had developed for learning more about the prevention of disease through diet and lifestyle, and studying naturopathy became the ‘next step’.

When we are truly healthy, we can fully enjoy family and friends of all ages and abilities.
